A Promise

I realize how bad I've been about blogging. Something about have a new person to take care of does that. I apologize and promise to improve in posting about what's going on with us. As far as what's gone on the last 2 months....

First of all, we welcomed our daughter Lillian Reeve on April 28 at 12:27 p.m. She was 7 lbs 14 oz and 20 in long. We had expected to be induced on the 28th but actually ended up at the hospital the night before with contractions. We were eventually induced with Pitocin but ultimately she did pick her birthday. I will write out the whole story later but know we are loving every minute of parenthood.

Newborn Lillian

Big Girl Lillian

We have been busy soaking it all in and introducing Lillian to all of her family. We made our first road trip to Friona (not again for a LONG time) and have enjoyed having lots of help this summer from Nonnie (aka my mom). Here is a picture recap of some of the highlights.

Saying good-bye to Aunt Mindy and Uncle Doug. We enjoyed their visit and Aunt Mindy rocked the Moby. Lillian loved it (and so did mama)!

Four Generations. We meet our newest cousin Molly when we were in Friona and took the opportunity to take a picture with Nana.

Secrets with Great-grandma (aka Nana)

Meeting Aunt Joni. Lillian loved being held by her but she was quick to pass her off when she got fussy. :)

As you can see, Lillian has her daddy, her Nonnie and her GrandBob wrapped around her finger.

We have been busy and can't wait for Lillian to meet Grandma from Ohio later this month!!
